RENTON, Wash. — The Renton City Prosecutor wants to send a cartoonist to jail for mocking the police department in a series of animated Internet videos.
The “South-Park”-style animations parody everything from officers having sex on duty to certain personnel getting promoted without necessary qualifications. While the city wants to criminalize the cartoons, First Amendment rights advocates say the move is an “extreme abuse of power.”
Ironically, despite the accusations against the satirist, the Renton Police department is never named explicitly in the cartoons, nor is Ms. Bartley. The police are basing their case solely on the fact that the cartoons resemble reports of misconduct by internal affairs and the media.
Renton Police Chief: Kevin Milosevich (pronounce:Mello-out-bitch).
This is the Video that the police dint care much for even though the station was never named, nor any of the civil-criminals, but they were piss-off anyways, because it just sounds just like them. “Who dares to make a mockery of Renton Cops, do it and go to jail!” (evil laughs).
